2.3.13

Hello.
I've been trying to get my act together and start working on pieces that will benefit my portfolio. I'm also looking at opening a shop to start selling a limited edition run of prints as well as digital prints. Some talk of collaborations with friends has been in the works. I've been struggling with where to move forward with my life in what to pursue artistically. I feel I need to do some researching to figure out where/what to look for.

In the meantime, I've began working on a piece that was inspired by a friends print. We have briefly discussed selling our prints together if people are interested in buying them.

Process works in progress:

I've made a few test prints by hand, but I'm planning on using the proof press at school to make my final to frame with my friend's piece. I've got some other sketches and ideas in mind for some future pieces, but I'm also trying to tackle a few baby shower gifts for 2 friends from work.

just a few sketches from my sketch book

I guess that's all for now.

Graduation

I just graduated with my BFA at RMCAD and started back to work this week after taking a week to spend time with my family. I have a potential job lined up in my field so fingers crossed on that. I'm hoping to get a new couple of projects going soon. Also, I'm hoping to get an opportunity to fully outline my process for printmaking, but until then I will leave you with these pictures from some work from my grad show. To view the final prints visit my website at www.serenacopley.com

I will start posting process work soon, but in the meantime you should visit my personal website: www.serenacopley.com and check out my finished works of art.
